New school

Friday 22nd November

On Tuesday we moved to the new school so a lot changed. Like the rules , the rules 

are different to our old school. We have to take our shoes off when we come into 

our Te Wairua Pakiki learning space. We are also not allowed to take our lunch down 

if we don’t have a lunch box , we have to take our whole bag down. We have no 

Rubbish bin so we have to put our rubbish back in our lunch box. It is way bigger 

compared to our new school and I really like it.

My Favourite Holiday

     

In the holiday I did six things. The most favourite thing was going to the movies. We watched “The Gemini Man.”  

We went to Sylvia Park Hoyts Cinemas. We got to pick whatever snacks we wanted. I got popcorn, skittles, ice cream, fizzy and pods I went with my brothers, cousins, and parents. It was so much fun. 

The movie was emotional but we enjoyed it. After that we went  to order food for our dinner. Then we went home and that was the best  Friday of my holiday.

On Friday we had a Room 3 Learning celebration the 

Whole school had to come to the hall. Me , moala Mele , Pauline , Xavier and some others had a part to say a part  just some of us had no part. First was Melenaite Stella Krystal and Jonah then it was moala ana mele pauline and me. Moala  ana mele and Pauline were the prayers of the faithful but I was not the Teacher Said that I was telling the instruction. After that we Sing our new school song school rules. After that some boys from room my class came up and Said That Room 1 is going to share they Learning with us. Room 1 did a dance.Next we sang our new school song again. When room 1 and room 4 did there dance Mr Gaffaney looked Disappointed because he Thought we were better but he loved it

What I've learnt this week

Friday 7th June

This week we learnt about maths - Times tables.

In maths  I learnt to count in my 5 times table like 5 x 11 =55 ,
I know because I skip count.
So 5 , 10 , 15 , 20 , 25 , 30 , 35 , 40 , 45 , 50 , 55
     1 ,   2 ,  3  ,  4 ,   5 ,   6 ,    7 ,  8 ,   9 ,  10 , 11
I skip count in 5's up to 10 and my answer is 55.
