Squash

 On Thursday 24th October 2020 TWP 6 went to squash after morning tea. When we went to learn how to play squash outside, Jude and Ricardo were there. We were all so excited.

When we were sitting down Jude was explaining to us what to do. And he said to us “ I'm gonna give you guys  homework” and some of us said yes and some said no.  The homework that was given to us was to search up the history of squash.

When he was done talking he separated us into groups it was 1- 4 and I was in the second group and in my group was Max Audrey Solomon and Alfonsus. When we were vs each other I was really excited.

When my group was getting confused about whose next our teacher Miss Laffoley came to us and said we should all get into a line and whoever loses goes to the back of the line.

A little while later Jude blew the whistle and then everyone went and sat on the ground. Then Jude said “I wish we could have yous longer but sadly we have another class to teach but so far you're my best class.” 

Then we said good bye to them and then we walked to class quietly.

 

My Dad Birthday

 

On Monday night it was my dad’s birthday. So me, my mum, my two brothers and my dad. When we got there only my dad, aunt's his uncle and a family friend and his mum and dad. 10 minutes later my dad's cousins,my dad's brother and his girlfriend and my four cousins all showed up.

I was Excited!!!

When everyone got there my mum said a Speech and then she gave an envelope with 100$ in it. In tongan we call that a Sela. When that was done my oldest brother set the cake up and he lit the candles and my dad blew it out, then we sang happy birthday to him and then we ate.

When everyone was done eating everyone started going home when some people left it was only me my Aunts my grandmas and and my mum cause my dad and my two brothers went home. After that my mum and my Aunts Mele went to go somewhere so it was me and my other Aunts Rose.

When my mum and my Aunt Mele left my mum left her phone with me so me and my Aunt Rose did tik toks, And it was so fun we did two tik toks and another two when my other Aunt Mele got back. Then we had a break and then we had more Energy i did two tik toks by myself then  I had to go to sleep so I did. When I woke up my mum said it was time to go home so my Aunt Mele took me, my mum and my grandma back to home. So we dropped my grandma off to her house and then my Aunt Mele dropped me and my mum home and we went to sleep.

My Long Weekend

What I did for my long weekend was go to my grandma’s house for a sleepover with all my first cousins. It was on my mum's side. We had so much fun. What happened was there were meant to be 15

Kids and 4 adults but instead there were only 8 kids and 4 adults. 

Although there were a small number of kids, it was still fun. We did a lot of fun activities.The activities we played were Jenga, we shared riddles and played chinese whispers, we also had a bomb fire which was super fun. Monday was the last day and we went to Laser 

Tag which was really fun. 

When we were done playing laser tag, the adults said we are going to buy food. The food we were going to buy was McDonald's but it was packed so we went back to my grandma's house. We all asked if we could have one more sleep over.

 Luckily my mum and auntys said ok and went to go buy some food for us. My older brother and My cousin wanted to go back to school but I didn’t. When they were going back home to get all their school stuff then they came back.

 When they returned we had one more bomb fire. My uncles told us that we were gonna make sticks. So what we did is we found some sticks and then we washed them and put these hooks on it and then taped it.

 

We used the sticks to put marshmallows on. When the bomb fire ended we all went back inside and then had a movie night. We watched a mouse movie which was really interesting.

 It wasn't that long till we got bored of watching the movie and then my older girl cousin asked if we wanted to play last card Torture.  It was pretty fun. When it came to the end it was me vs my older boy cousin. When I was on my last card which was an ace of hearts  I put it down. When my cousin saw he was getting tortured he was like “nah i’m not playing” then my older girl cousin and his sister said “hurry up” then we all laughed. When we were torturing we got to pick one and it was punches, slaps, pinches and knuckles. 

When we finished torturing him his hand was really red. Then my uncle said we all have to go to bed now so we did. 

When we woke up my youngest uncle and his girlfriend made us french toast, eggs and milo for breakfast. It was so delicious. 

When that was done we went and had a shower and changed clothes. When most of us were done, me and my cousin did some tik toks. When we got bored of doing tik toks we went and played outside then my cousins mum and dad came and then everyone talked a bit then they went home.

 After they left  it was just me, my brother and my other two cousins. Then my mum said “we're gonna go now” so both of my cousins got into the car then we went and took them home.  When we dropped them off my mum and my aunty talked a bit then we went home and that was the end of my fun-filled weekend.

           Introduction

 Today I am going to talk about a dolphin.a bottle nose dolphin 

Because it is fun to talk about Dolphins because they are so cute and it like 

They always have a big smile on their face and I think it is really funny.

Life Cycle

The dolphin life cycle begins after a female bottle nose dolphin becomes pregnant, it has a gestation period of about 12 months. Although female bottle nose dolphins give birth to calves throughout the year worldwide, births peak at various times in different locations.

Down into the sea it can dive up to 1,000 feet they have two stomachs.

They are also very very intelligent sea animals. They never chew their food. And they can live upto 50 years.
